Status of Wisconsin Agriculture is an annual agricultural situation and outlook report authored (except where noted) by faculty in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics. The report contains three parts. Part I provides a brief overview of the financial environment in the Wisconsin farming sector. In Part II, market analysts review current conditions in major Wisconsin commodity sub-sectors and offer their forecasts for 2009. Part III contains a special article that addresses the sustainability of bio-fuel development in Wisconsin from several perspectives.
