USDA’s Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) on Thursday published a final rule that amends the regulations for the Milk Income Loss Contract (MILC) program to extend the program through September 30, 2012. The final rule also adjusts regulations for the milk price support program, now called the dairy product price support program, to specify that support purchases will only be made from manufacturers and not from third parties such as brokers.
