At the CME spot market, blocks increased 3.75¢ and barrels rose 3¢. Blocks settled at $2.1375 on an unfilled bid for 2 cars, which leaves blocks just 6.25¢ below their record high of $2.20, set in April, 2004.

The announced August Class III price is $19.83, a drop of $1.55 from the record July value of $21.38

The CME spot price for cheddar blocks were bid up to $2.05 on Thursday while barrels traded at$2.0025.

The Sept. Class I Advanced price was last Friday at $21.91. This is up 15¢ from August and $11.06 from Sept. ‘06.
