Global Dairy Futures Market Being Established in New Zealand

An global dairy futures market aimed at helping companies tackle volatile prices is expected to be launched in the middle of this year in New Zealand. The futures contracts would be on globally traded products, with whole milk powder the first dairy product to be launched, subject to regulatory approval from the New Zealand Securities Commission.
