June Dairy Stocks Data Released This Afternoon

NASS released today their estimates of the June end-of-month stocks of dairy products.
American cheese stocks continued their upward trend.
Butter stocks also increased over the June 08 level. Both these trends don’t bode well for a strengthening of the Class III price. There were significant double digit decreases in Class III future settle prices today for the Aug ‘09 - May ‘10 contracts.
