April Cheese and Butter Stock Values Released

The April Cold Storage report was released today.   end-of-April Total Cheese stocks was 914.1 mil. lbs., an increase of 20 mil. lbs from Mar.  This compares to 855.9 milk. lbs. at the end of April 2008.

End of month butter stocks stood at 242.7 mil. lbs., a 30.3 mil. lb increase over the stock level at the end of March. This compares with an April 2008 stock level of 251.5 mil. lbs.
