Dairy Product Support Program Support Prices Announced

As of January 5, 2009 the USDA implemented slight changes in the CCC purchase prices for cheese.  New support rates are $1.13 for blocks and $1.10 for barrels.  The purchase price for bulk butter remains $1.05 and nonfortified NDM remains 80¢.   The government will no longer buy processed cheese, 1-lb. prints of butter or fortified or instant NDM.  The document detailing these support prices can be found by clicking here.
