Decrease in Sept. Retail Milk Price Versus Sept. '07

In Sept., the retail whole milk CPI was 217.2, a decrease from the record July value of 225.4, a 3.6% decline. The Sept value is less than the Sept. 07 value. This represents the first year-over-year decline in milk prices since Feb. ‘07
