Total March cheese output was 834 mil. lbs., 0.7% below March 2007. Italian type cheese production was 358 mil. lbs., 1.2% below March 2007. American type cheese production was 340 mil. lb, 0.3 percent above March 2007. Butter production was 154 mil. lbs, 11.5% above March 2007.
